Branded Reusable Race Cups and soft_flasks for Events

Race organizers are moving away from single-use paper cups toward reusable soft_flasks and cups that runners keep. They cut waste at aid stations, double as a finisher item, and carry your event and sponsor logos long after the race. Here's what to know when ordering them.

Cup or Flask?

For aid-station handouts, a small soft cup or flask in the 150–250ml range is usually enough and keeps the per-unit cost down. If the item is meant as a finisher gift runners will reuse in training, a 350–500ml flask is more useful. Many events order both: a small cup for the course and a larger flask in the race pack. Our capacity guide covers which size fits which use.

Sponsor Co-Branding

A soft_flask gives you printable space for your event logo plus sponsor marks, which can offset the cost or become part of a sponsorship package. Decide early how many print positions and colors you need, since that affects the print method and price.

Volume and Lead Time

Events order in bulk, which usually clears MOQ comfortably, but the constraint is the calendar. Production commonly runs around 30–35 days plus shipping, so place the order well ahead of the race date and leave room for a sample round. Build in a buffer if your date falls near Chinese New Year, when factories close.

Material and Safety

Use food-grade TPU that is BPA- and PVC-free, and request the test reports — especially if you're handing thousands of units to the public. See our note on soft_flask certifications.
